Dan brown The da Vinci code

Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, while in Paris, receives a phone call in the middle of the night which rattles him from head to toe. A curator of the Louvre has been brutally murdered inside the museum and a series of codes are left behind with the body. Robert Langdon who was supposed to meet the curator is now a suspect. As Robert and French cryptologist Sophie Neveu try to solve the mystery behind the murder and the symbols, they are startled to discover that the clues lie in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. The clues are visible with the naked eye, but are not yet logically deciphered by anyone. It turns out that the late curator was a member of the secret society for whom protecting the secret was the most vital. As Langdon and Nevue try to break the code by racing through the castles and cathedrals of Europe, they are chased by the faceless adversary. Will they be able to find out the secret for which the curator sacrificed his life? Will the secret be lost forever and the efforts of the secret society over the years go in vain? The Da Vinci Code is a brilliantly written novel with twists and suspense that thrill as they unfold. The Da Vinci Code is published by RHUK, Ireland and is the exported edition that was published on 28 August 2009 and is available in paperback
